2. After two minutes, use a pair of tweezers to remove your jewellery from the solution.
3. Gently clean behind the settings and in between crevices with a soft bristle brush to remove any debris.
4. Rinse, blot dry and shine your gold or platinum jewellery with a Tiffany polishing cloth.

To maintain the lustre of your gold jewellery, it is recommended to avoid exposure to household bleach and other cleaning products that can quickly tarnish and even degrade the gold. Only gold and platinum can be scratched by polishing. However, the lingering beauty of the scratches that develop over time add beauty to the piece and reflect the journey the piece has taken. The polishing process removes the metal and is recommended to be done only a few times in the lifetime of the jewellery.

It is very important to properly store your jewellery while travelling or moving or not wearing it. Whenever possible, store your jewellery in a jewellery storage box, away from elements that can easily discolour it, to prevent it from becoming tangled or twisted.
Storing Jewellery at Home
If you tend to wear your jewellery frequently, avoid exposing your jewellery to too much air and store it in a rust-resistant fabric, such as the flannel pouch provided with your Tiffany Jewellery purchase, or in a jewellery storage box. Good quality jewellery storage boxes are usually made of rust-resistant fabric on the inside and have separate compartments for each piece of jewellery.
Storing Your Jewellery While Travelling
It is important to properly store and protect your jewellery while traveling. If you are traveling with multiple pieces of jewellery, we recommend storing them in a box with separate compartments or in a poly bag. This will prevent your jewellery from getting tangled or twisted. Store jewellery away from clothing to prevent it from getting caught on clothing. Storing Your Jewellery While Moving
During the move, all jewellery should be stored in a secure storage location. If using a jewellery box, wrap the jewellery separately and place it inside the box. Once you have safely stored all your jewellery, secure the jewellery box with moving material like any other piece of furniture. as a secure storage option.
