Designer Award

Building on the success of its inaugural year, the 2026-2027 Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewellery Designer Award continues to elevate the next generation of American jewellery designers.

Rooted in Tiffany & Co.’s enduring legacy of excellence and the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s commitment to nurturing American design talent, the Award offers designers the opportunity to learn from one of the world’s most renowned jewellery houses. Finalists will receive one-to-one mentorship through Tiffany & Co.’s design team, and present final collections to an illustrious selection committee including Tiffany & Co.’s Senior Vice President, Chief Artistic Officer, Nathalie Verdeille. This continuation reaffirms our commitment to driving innovation and creating lasting impact in the jewellery design industry.

One designer will receive exclusive mentorship from Tiffany and CFDA leaders, £50,000, and a one-year paid fellowship with the Tiffany design team.

FAQ

The programme is open to individuals who are legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older, and who are eligible to work in the United States.

Applications open 10 May 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET and close 1 June 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Visit here and follow the directions to complete and submit the application form, which will require you to provide your name and contact information, submit your CV and portfolio, and answer a series of questions about you and your experience, interests and vision via video. Your application will not be considered complete until you have submitted both the written application and video portion.

The Selection Committee will review applications based on years of proven design experience, including, but not limited to: concept sketching; hand rendering; 3D CAD design and printing; the ability to design concepts and collections through couture designs and gifts.

Finalists will be notified no later than 31 August 2026.

Each finalist will receive a stipend to produce a 3-5-piece capsule collection in metal. The collection will be presented to the Selection Committee and showcased during the Award Ceremony at The Landmark. Finalists are expected to fully engage in all components of the award programme.
