A Time-honoured Legacy

For more than 175 years, Tiffany & Co.’s illustrious watchmaking heritage represents the jeweller’s constant pursuit of inventive artistry, craft and horological excellence.

Distinctive Timepieces

The story began in 1847, when founder Charles Lewis Tiffany began offering fine American and European clocks and pocket watches at his second store on Broadway in New York City. By 1874, the House opened its first watch manufacturing facility in Geneva, exemplifying its dominance in the world of watchmaking. At the end of the 19th century, this became even more evident when the House unveiled extraordinary jewellery timepieces at the 1889 Paris Exposition Universelle, such as the famed Apple Blossom lapel watch nestled within pink enamel petals.

The Art of Watchmaking

Today, Tiffany & Co. continues to redefine modern horology with creations that honour its rich heritage while embracing daring innovations. The pinnacle of this evolution is the Bird on a Flying Tourbillon, a masterpiece that elevates the House’s iconic Bird on a Rock into the realm of high watchmaking. Combining exceptional artistry, rare techniques and a flying tourbillon movement, it represents a revolutionary milestone for the House. As Tiffany & Co. advances into a new era of timekeeping, the Bird on a Flying Tourbillon stands as a testament to Tiffany & Co.’s love of craft, creativity and technical excellence.
