Running Trophies Designed by Tiffany

Since 1984, Tiffany & Co. has handcrafted the Samuel Rudin Trophy, awarded to the winners of the race’s women’s, men’s and wheelchair divisions. Taking approximately three months to complete, the 12-inch sterling silver trays feature an enameled etching of the marathon route as well as an inscription of the winner’s name. In addition, Tiffany proudly crafts the accompanying gold medallion along with the silver and bronze medallions awarded to the second and third-place participants.

Since 2012, Tiffany & Co. has crafted the awards for the winners and finishers of the world’s largest women’s marathon: the Nagoya Women’s Marathon. Crafted in sterling silver, the first-place award features notable Nagoya landmarks. The accompanying gold medallion, along with the silver and bronze medallions awarded to the second and third-place participants, are also crafted by Tiffany & Co. Additionally, all marathon participants are presented with a sterling silver Tiffany & Co. pendant upon crossing the finish line to commemorate their completion of the race.

Tiffany & Co. is proud to handcraft the awards for the most sought-after road race in China: the Shanghai Marathon. The first, second and third-place trophies are handcrafted in 18k gold, sterling silver and bronze over the course of nearly four months at the Tiffany hollowware workshop. The sterling silver and 24k vermeil trophy is approximately 18 inches high, five inches wide and five inches long and weighs three pounds. The House also handcrafts the gold, silver and bronze medallions awarded to the race’s top three male and female runners.
